- 1. Place the CD in the CD-ROM drive
- 2. Autorun will start the disk and prompt you to start the game
- If Autorun is turned off on your computer,
- 1. Click Start
- 2. Click Run
- 3. Type d:\setup
- 4. Click OK
- 3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete install.

- MacintoshÆ
- 1. Place the CD in the CD-ROM drive
- 2. Double click on the Noahís Ark icon
-
- Once Noahís Ark Activity Center has been installed, you can open it by double
- clicking on the Noahís Ark icon from the Brighter Child Folder. However, the CD-
- ROM must be in the drive to play the game.

- Game Play
-
- Skill Levels
- Throughout the game you will see a series of buttons with numbers in them. These
- allow you to adjust the level of game play. 1 is the lowest difficulty. 2 is medium
- difficulty. 3 is the most difficult. The skill level may be changed at any time during a
- game.

- Signing in
- Noahís Ark Activity Center will save your work, so you need to tell it who you are.
- To sign in, just type your name on the line provided in the sign in screen and click on
- the forward arrow. If you want to play a saved game, just click on your name.

- Ending an Activity
- Once you have completed an activity, please click on the back arrow to return to the
- choices screen.

- The Preparation Screen
- You may play three activities to help Noah prepare for the flood.

- Build the Ark
- 1. Drag the pieces of the Ark to the right place on the Arkís frame. If a piece does
- not fit Noah will put it back for you.

- The Marketplace Game
- 1. Look at the shopping list in the upper right corner of the screen to determine what
- you need.
- 2. Click on the item(s) you wish to buy. The shopkeeper will pick the fruit out for
- you and put it on his table. (You may only choose three pieces of fruit at a time)
- 3. When the fruit is on the table, click and drag it to the proper basket. Be careful
- time doesnít run out!

- Gather the Animals
- 1. Use the ARROW KEYS to guide Noah into a square. An animal will appear.
- 2. Guide Noah to another square to find a matching animal.
-
- Make sure you cross the stream where the rocks are.
- Gray squares are not in play.
- When you have matched two squares they will change colors and become inactive.
- On Level 2 beware of moving paths.
- Look fast on Level 3, unmatched pairs will switch places.

- Inside the Ark
- There are three activities inside the ark
-
- Feed the Animals
- 1. Point the mouse at a wheel barrow and click to pick up the food.
- 2. Point the mouse at the animal that eats the food you have just picked up and click
- on that animal
- Watch out, if you feed the food to the wrong animal or another animal gets in the
- way, it will make a mess.

- The Questions Game
- 1. Listen to the questions asked by Noah and his sons, then click on ìTrueî or
- ìFalse,î whichever is correct.

- Arts & Crafts
- This activity prints out Crafts that you can color and build. You will need crayons,
- colored pencils or magic markers, and scissors. Ask an adult for help if you need it.

- 1. Scroll through the craft options.
- 2. Click Print to print the craft you would like to make. (Make sure your printer is
- connected and turned on.)

- Rainbow Screen
- Congratulations, youíve helped Noah guide the Ark safely through the storm. Now
- you can play two more activities and print out your Award Certificate.

- Rainbow Repeater
- 1. Watch and listen to the Rainbow. It will light up a series of colors.
- 2. Repeat the pattern by clicking on the same colors in the same order.

- Musical Rainbow
- 1. Click on the colors of the rainbow that match the colors on the scroll to play a
- song.
- 2. Use the forward and backward arrows to choose different songs.

- Using the Recorder
- Click on the circle to record.
- Click on the Square to stop.
- Click on the Triangle to play back your recording.

- Award Certificate
- 1. Type in your name.
- 2. Click on the arrows to choose the items on your certificate.
- 3. Click ìPrint.î

- When you are finished with the game click on the X to quit.
